SSN-21 Seawolf
I have a 1/96 scale, scratch built SSN-21 Seawolf Class Sub model. I'm just now beginning to make the WTC to power it. Hopefully, by the end of the summer (2003) I'll have it in the water.

Russia's most modern nuclear fast attack submarines. Prior to the collapse of the Cold War, this is what American submarine captains feared most.

Alligator Junior
Working on this one for a TV shoot with the Discovery Science Channel. Took the commission in a weak moment. Final destination is the Seaport Museum in Philadelphia where the original was built in 1859-60.

DeVilleroi's 1859 Salvage Sub - aka Alligator Junior

H.L. Hunley - Confederate submersible
I started this model having no idea how long it was going to take to build. Having never scratch built a hull before, it was an eye-opening experience! Every time I thought I was on my way, I would learn something new about the "real" HL Hunley.

The Irish ROV-er
While not a stereotypical radio controlled sub this camera equipped and totally home made ROV - was a personal challenge to build for $100. I found some plans in a book called "Build your own ROV" and altered them for my purposes.

U.S.S. Blueback
I was looking for a sub small enough to carry on board a plane and compact enough to run in a pool. The Blueback was the one I chose.
